Alas! O’ B Privileged! A Proper Blog Entry!
January 15, 2007 on 8:15 pm | 1 CommentI thought my blog was getting depressingly old and neglected. It’s funny that at the times that I actually need to be doing things, I don’t. I should be revising for my maths exams tomorrow, but I’m not. I’m writing this blog. Might as well make it a beast of a blog though. ^^.
So in the future I’m going to do some things. For anyone who’s wondering my birthday party is on the 9th of February, confirmed and not subject to change. If you’re a regular you’ll know where I live. If you are a new… I’ll have told you you’re invited and you can ask me where I live. Gigs. They’re cool, no? A boy at school said live music was a bit crap really, and he preferred digitally enhanced record quality things. But! It’s not about that. It’s about atmosphere, sweatiness, jumping around, and getting your ear drums blasted out with music louder than the accepted noise levels of a Boeing 747 in take off.
Anyhow*, this Saturday we’re going to see The Noisettes@Mr Kyps, with Maddie, Steph and Neshie. They’re a good band and should be quite cool! Then the next week, Greg, Foz, Milly and I shall be heading down to Southampton to see Bloc Party at the Guildhall. Which should be amazing! A-mazing. Well I hope. Bloc Party are actually playing the Old FireStation as a warm-up gig, but tickets were scarce (not to mention it’s an o.18s gig) and Southampton was the closest we could get. Metric are supporting.
*This word always reminds me of the time I watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon dubbed. This is because a man used the word “anyhow” completely out of context and in a completely silly voice. Ahh good times. That was random fact #2498247.
